Main Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Application Engineering team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
Develop and implement engineering solutions tailored to customer needs, ensuring high-quality technical support.
Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Service teams to deliver optimal power solutions.
Oversee the technical evaluation and design of power supply systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Coordinate with mechanical engineering teams to integrate electrical and mechanical aspects in product designs.
Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies.
Conduct technical training for internal teams and customers.
Ensure project deadlines and customer requirements are met within budget constraints.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
Expertise in power electronics, energy storage, and UPS systems would be appreciated.
Solid knowledge of electrical system design, and engineering software like EPLAN.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
Fluent in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
A hybrid position with 2 days home office per week.
