The position

The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for supporting the efficient operation of supply chain activities, including inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution. This role ensures accurate tracking, movement, and documentation of goods and materials within the supply chain to meet production and customer demand in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Main responsibilities

  • Process purchase orders in the system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. SAP
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with suppliers to track order status and delivery schedules. SAP
  • Enter order acknowledgments and confirmations into the system in SAP4 hana
  • Analyze material requirements and inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to clarify needs and resolve supply issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications with suppliers.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with procurement or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and manage multiple priorities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
