The position

Our Sales Manager for Argentina is responsible for developing and strengthening business relationships with clients, prospects, and strategic partners within the Argentine market. In this role, they will lead the generation of new business opportunities, the expansion of existing accounts, and the execution of the local commercial strategy, aligned with the regional objectives for South America.

Main responsibilities

  • Contribute to sales and (mutual) profitability objectives by identifying and acquiring new customers and projects.
  • Analyze current and future market trends, identify and develop new customers and prospects, define and execute sales plans, and maintain relevant information in the CRM system.
  • Identify new investment projects in the market within the context of sales and profitability growth.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful long-term relationships with existing customers and prospects, as well as with other stakeholders.
  • Analyze potential customer segments to develop and execute a sales plan, identifying and developing new customers or projects.
  • Understand customer needs and support the development of solution concepts with end customers, planning offices, and/or system suppliers.
  • Represent the company to customers and act as a liaison between them and the relevant internal functions; participate in acceptance tests (FAT or SAT).
  • Collaborate with the Engineering department in the preparation of proposals.
  • Work closely with other sales teams to support the acquisition of Energy Transition projects.
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs, and customer events, as well as in project reviews.
  • Provide all required information in a structured manner to the FAE teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with additional studies in Sales Management.
  • More than 5 years of experience in the UPS industry or a similar sector (a mandatory requirement), ideally with experience working with Engineering firms (EPC).
  • Knowledge of commercial and contractual legislation, as well as project order specifications.
  • Experience in contractual negotiations.
  • Proficiency in English (C1 level).
  • Availability to travel according to business needs (more than 50%).
