The position

The finance function will be the sole finance lead, responsible for overseeing all financial, accounting, tax, treasury, and compliance matters of the AEG Thailand entity. This role will ensure accurate financial reporting under TFRS and IFRS, strengthen internal control, improve documentation discipline within the local operation team, and act as the key liaison between Thailand operations, outsourced accounting firm, Singapore/Malaysia regional office.

Main responsibilities

  • Oversee full-set accounting and monthly closing (TFRS & IFRS compliance)
  • Timely and accurate closingand reporting, including the preparations of pre-consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage AP, AR, and cash collection.
  • AP – Handle AP process invoices, employee claims, payment forecast and vendor reconciliations.
  • AR – Handle AR invoices monitoring and control, track collections, reconcile customer accounts.
  • Ensure timely VAT, CIT, WHT, social security and statutory filings.
  • Oversee payroll processing, ensure compliance with Thai labor law.
  • Support management of budget and forecastactivities.
  • Handle treasury, cash flow forecasting and bank guarantees (BG).
  • Manage accruals, CAPEX, fixed assets and GR/IR reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper supporting documents (invoices, expenses, customs, inventory reports) from operations team.
  • Strengthening internal controls and documentation processes.
  • Financial audit preparation and support or coordinate the audit process.
  • Manage BOI compliance and optimize BOI privileges.
  • Liaise with APAC finance and support group reporting.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (ACCA)
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience (Diploma with more years of relevant workingexperience will be considered.)
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles
  • Knowledge of auditing practices and principles (need not have auditing experience but must be able to handle auditors)
  • Knowledge of Thai tax regulations and TFRS/IFRS.
  • Experience in SAP ERP system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Fluent in Thai and English, both speaking and writing.
  • Experience in MNC environment preferred.
