The position

The Logistics Manager leads the management of domestic and international shipments, ensuring the proper application of Incoterms, compliance with customs regulations, and the optimization of transportation costs and lead times. They are responsible for ensuring efficient, secure operations aligned with the company’s strategy, particularly in industrial and export-driven environments.

Main responsibilities

  • Define and oversee the strategy for domestic and international shipments.
  • Manage transportation (sea, air, and land), optimizing costs and transit times.
  • Apply and advise on Incoterms in international commercial operations.
  • Manage logistics operations through SAP (orders, deliveries, invoicing, and traceability).
  • Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, and customs agents to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee export/import documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor KPIs (OTIF, lead time, transportation costs, incidents).
  • Lead the resolution of logistics and customs issues.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and sales teams, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Minimum Higher Vocational Training (FPII).
  • Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in Logistics and Warehousing in an industrial environment.
  • Team management: Previous experience leading teams is essential.
  • Desirable knowledge: SAP (MM or PP module), intermediate to advanced Excel.
  • Mandatory knowledge: Previous experience working with Incoterms.
  • Valued skills: Proactivity, organization, effective communication, ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Languages: Ideally a B2 level of English.
